Carefree Farmers Market

Every Friday (Winter Hours - 9 AM to 1 PM October through May) (Summer Hours - 8 AM to 11 AM June through September) Every Friday near the Sundial in Carefree! Vendors change weekly. Features may include fresh, local, seasonal produce, herbs, and flowers; locally made jams, jellies, and salsas; and freshly baked bread. FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING! When it's hot, the market moves to the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion stage area with shade and misters to cool the area.

Carefree Friday Nights
Every Friday evening from 5 PM to 9 PM at Carefree Town Center at 8 Sundial Circle in Carefree. This weekly event invites you to explore the charm of Carefree after sunset. Local restaurants offer live entertainment, and stores in the Town Center stay open later for more shopping.  Enjoy a delightful dinner, stroll through the Carefree Desert Gardens, and discover local treasures—in one night. It's a simple and enjoyable way to experience the best of Carefree under the stars. 

30th Annual Fall Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival 

November 1-3, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. The festival will take place in downtown Carefree, at 101 Easy St, Carefree, AZ.  Meet 165 award-winning, juried fine artists at this Signature Event! Sip fine wines and listen to the tunes of live musicians, while strolling through small to life-sized bronze sculptures, paintings, metal, clay, wood, stone, glass, ceramic, copper, found objects, and mixed media sculptures. See an array of pottery, photography, one-of-a-kind jewelry designs, batiks, and much more! Take in more than 5,000 original masterworks of fine art and fine crafts. Subject matter ranges from Southwest and traditional to contemporary and abstract, including floral, wildlife, European, African, and Native American. This festival offers a wide variety of mediums, styles, sizes, subject matters, and price ranges, to ensure there is something that appeals to everyone who attends. Prickly Pear Fest
November 2, 2024, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Holland Community Center at 34250 N 60th St, Building B in Scottsdale. You won’t want to miss this annual FREE event! Held on the beautiful patio at The Holland Center, the Prickly Pear Fest is a treasured event in our Sonoran Desert. Come learn about the many things you can do with this abundant fruit including harvesting, juicing, and flour processing. There will be delicious samples of smoothies, salsa, bread, and more! Seminars begin at 10 AM, 10:45 AM 11:30 AM, and 12:15 PM.

Boots, Bourbon & BBQ

November 2, 2024, 4 PM to 7 PM at at Arizona Horseback Adventures, 44029 N Spur Cross Rd, in Cave Creek. Join us for this FUNdraiser that brings the community together for some of the best food, drinks, and music that Cave Creek has to offer, and all for a great cause—supporting the Unbridled Confidence Program for Tween Girls.

Annual Christmas Bazaar

GCS Farmers Market
Held every 2nd Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM each month November through April with over 50 vendors at the Holland Community Center located at 34250 N 60th St in Scottsdale.

The Arizona Gold Mining Experience
November 9, 2024, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cave Creek Museum located at 6140 E Skyline Drive, Cave Creek, AZ. *** Due to the popularity of this event, pre-purchase of tickets is required. Tickets may be purchased on the EVENT page. The museum opens at 8:30 am for event check-in, The AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE begins at 10 am! The Cave Creek Museum’s AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE is unique with its display of the complete hard rock ore extraction process, with the mine shaft, tramway, ore carts, crushing, and extraction, which are always on display but operated on AZ Cold Mining Experience.

Third Thursday Art Walks

Join Carefree Galleries on the Third Thursday of every month beginning October through May for our seasonal Art Night. Carefree’s Third Thursday event series invites visitors to stroll, shop, dine, and enjoy an evening celebrating the arts in downtown Carefree! These events help support local businesses and local creativity which make our Arizona culture a better place to live, work, and visit. The Art Evenings are FREE and self-guided, every month, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., and offer FREE PARKING. Begin at any gallery, then continue to other participating galleries. 15th Annual Cave Creek Fine Art & Wine Festival at Stagecoach Village 
November 15th -17th, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM at Stagecoach Village 7100 E Cave Creek Rd. Admission and parking is FREE. The show features a gathering of local and regional artists exhibiting in an open-air plaza with stunning desert views.

12th Annual Desert Discovery Day

Saturday, November 16th, 10 AM to 2 PM at Jewel of the Creek Preserve located at 40029 N Sur Cross Road in Cave Creek. Free fun for the whole family! Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour 2024

November 22, 23, 24, & December 1, 10 AM to 5 PM. Now in its 28th year, the free, self-guided studio tour offers seasoned collectors and art enthusiasts a rare chance to observe artists at work in their private studios during the six-day tour. The studio tour also attracts holiday shoppers seeking original, unique gifts. Each studio has one or more guest artists who also display and sell their work. Turkey Palooza - Thanksgiving Eve at Janey's
November 27 from 5:30 to 10:30 PM at Janey's Coffee Company located at 6602 E Cave Creek Rd in Cave Creek. Fundraisers are split between the Cave Creek Museum and the Foothills Food Bank. Janey's will host a 10-artist musical event with the proceeds from the $10 cover charge going directly to this fundraiser. See you there!
